confused about pork

Hi gang
I am very confused about pork.  I always thought it was very fatty and not something I should be eating.  Now I hear it lumped in with chicken and fish as something that should be eaten.  Is this true?  If I am buying pork what should I be looking for?  I really am totally confused on this one.  Do I look for lean pork chops? - is there even such a thing?
Please help
Thanks and I hope you are all enjoying your weekend and taking care of yourselves

Pork has more fat inside of the meat than either chicken or fish. The best cut to buy if you are going to have a little bit is the pork loin. Just remember, no more than 6 oz per meal.

I don\’t really know that much either.  But for a helthier version I get the boneless pork chops and I bake them on a cookie sheet with a bunch of seasoning on them and cover them with aluminum foil so they will become very tender.  I hope this helps.

Pork sounds fatty and something we shouldn’t be having but actually if it’s a lean cut, and trim off all fat, it’s ….” the other white meat ” … and a good source of protein.

I eat pork chops but I trim all visible fat off first and I bake not fry them.

Hope this was a little helpful.
