Something WAY cool

Well it may not be the best picture but it’s a picture.
 
I just realized something really cool this morning that I thought I would like to share with my buddies.
 
Since my son is doing his road test today to get his driver’s license (man if that doesnt make a mom feel old lol) he had some forms he needed to fill out. 
On those forms he needed my driver’s license #.  
When I was looking a my license, that I had to renew last year, I looked at the weight on it.
I remember very clearly having to give my weight to the woman at the DMV. 
Not just giving it to her but actually having to say it out loud, with other people nearby.  Well I just couldn’t say 265 lbs.  I just couldn’t.
So I said 230 lbs like that really made much of a difference to anyone yet I thought 230 was so way way way much better and more acceptable than 265 my actual weight.
 
Now today when I look at my driver’s license that says 230 lbs I know its wrong.  But this time it’s wrong because it’s too high.  WOW what a great thing to realize.  Now I’m at 228 and going down and by the time I have my driver’s license renewed again I will be honest and give my correct weight and be very proud.

stuck at 30 and frustrated

Good Morning Buddies
and Happy Friday!!!!!
I hope you are all looking forward to the weekend and that you have some sunshine in your life.
 
I am really frustrated right now.  I’ve lost 30 lbs and I just seem to be stuck here and it feels like I will be forever.
IT’S SO FRUSTRATING   I have been eating right and exercising but the scales not moving.  Or it moves a tiny bit down then a tiny bit back up but thats it.
I think the hardest part is that its been very difficult fitting in my exercise but I’ve been working hard at that and doing it.  I would think the scale should be moving in the right direction.
 
Tonight I have dinner plans at Boston Pizza of all places and I’m very unhappy about that.
I’m trying to look at the positive aspects like how lucky I am to be going out with family and friends and how much I love spending time with them but I looked up some of the calories in some of Bostons food last night online and that was very discouraging.
I’ll have to take a closer look and try to find something thats not as bad as the rest I guess.
Does anyone else eat at Boston Pizza and have any ideas of good choices there?
 
It’s still early here 7:30 am.  I’m going to go for a walk this morning with my Day Care children in the rain it looks like.  Thats okay they’ll love that.  I do enjoy that time with them so much.  This afternoon after a good healthy low cal lunch I’ll exercise to my DVD.  I will stick to my guns and I know the weight will come off just frustrated right now and had to get that out of my system.

A new week (much needed)

This is the start of a new week for me and boy do I need it.

It was a 4 day weekend here and everything was out of whack.
rn
I did really well with dealing with some big food challenges over the weekend.  I did get in a few good walks so that part was great.
rn
But it was the lack of any other exercise and a few teeny tiny little chocolate eggs (the evil things) that were my downfall this weekend.

So today its time to get back in gear and get moving.
rn
The past weeks been difficult for me as far as my routine.  It’s Spring Break here and having the children out of school is really messin with me.
The weather was also really terrible.  Much nicer now though.
rn
One more week before they are back in school so I need to find a way to get enough exercise in to keep losing.
rn
I just gotta keep moving forward here I can’t afford to go back.  This is way too important to me.
rn
I have my meals planned for the day and I am taking the children out for a nice long walk.  I’ll take them to the school where there’s a track I can walk around with the little one in the stroller and the others running, playing etc.

Just thinking out loud here, planning my day and typing it out.

I am grateful for this opportunity

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and that you are motivated to stay on plan this week.

It’s the start of Spring Break here. 
rn
Two weeks of it and that leaves me with some challenges.
rn
I’m not able to get my usual morning exercise in as I have extra children here (I have a Day Care in my home) for the full day.
rn
So my plan was to make sure we got out for a walk every morning. 
rn
A great plan for me and for the children to get some exercise and fresh air.
rn
But the weather isn’t cooperating. 
rn
It’s -21 right now with a very cold wind.   BRRRRRRRRRR
rn
Last night I made myself go for a walk out in it and man did I ever walk fast. 
rn
But I sure can’t do that with the little guys.
rn
So I have my work cut out for me making sure I eat right and get my exercise in this week.  I am up for the challenge though.

Oh ya TOM also had to show up today just to add to everything else. 
rn
LOL oh well whatcha gonna do?
