2 slices of pizza????
Did you even know it was possible to eat ONLY two slices of pizza?
I didn’t until I did it last night.
Not that pizza was the healthiest food to be eating by far but still I only had 2 pieces.
In the past I would have had at least 3, eaten til I was stuffed, eaten leftover pizza for a late night snack, then leftover pizza for breakfast. Wow what was I thinking?
Anyway last night I told my son he could order pizza for supper.
He’s been dying to for months but I have been avoiding it like the plague with good reason I might add.
I had my 2 pieces that I ate slowly and really enjoyed.
I wasn’t stuffed and uncomfortable afterwards.
My scale this morning wasn’t frowning at me.
How can eating 2 pieces of pizza make anyone feel so proud?
Weird I know
But I was so proud after that.
One thing I should confess is that I did stuff my hubby’s lunch full of leftover pizza as well as my sons lunch.
Hey I am strong but geez there is a limit lol
I had to get that pizza out of here.
There still is one last lonely piece sitting in the fridge but this girl won’t be eating it.
Then last night while I was sitting in the chair talking to hubby after dinner I look down and my legs are crossed.
One over the other.
What the heck?
How did that happen?
I didnt know that was possible.
But here I was with my legs crossed and it was actually comfy.
Wow, again something so simple that felt so amazing.

Glad you sent the rest of the pizza out of the house! I may be fine with what I have eaten, but hours later it will call me. I sent everything home with someone or freeze it stat. Good for you. What we are after is control. Marge
Great job!! Pizza is a family fav around here too. I’m TRYING to get down to ONE piece with a big salad. Can’t say I’ve done it perfect yet! Working on it though! Good job again!

OMG. I totally understand about a new feeling of being able to cross your legs. You are moving into a new body dimension. WOW. Simple things that we can do now after we lost weight.

I am so proud of you Lori! Sounds like your mind and body are on the same page and are “listening” to each other. By eating 2 slices of pizza and feeling full and content with what you had is a great accomplishment. I totally understand where your coming from, I love pizza, and now I’ll have one or two slices and get away from the table. I’m full and my body doesn’t need anymore. As for crossing your legs, you go you sexy thang!!! Big high 5 to ya friend!!!
When you have been a binger, like I have eating only 2 pieces of pizza would be a MAJOR breakthrough into recovery. I say recovery because in my humble opinion bingeing is just as bad as an alcoholic having a drink. The alcoholic can live without the booze but we cannot live without our vice, food. Reach around and give yourself a big pat on the back.
