So disappointed in myself

After working so damn hard this week
working out a ton and eating so well and feeling so good about myself  I blew it tonight.

Fell asleep watching TV then woke up hungry and instead of just going to bed like I should have I ate.
Didn’t eat healthy either.
I started out by having some yogurt - not a bad choice if I had to eat late at night.
Then I had some sugar free candies - sugar free NOT calorie free.
Then I had a chocolate covered granola bar.
Should have just gone to bed but Nooooooooo

I ate crap and now I feel like crap.

I hate that it takes so much work to get the weight off and takes so little to put it back on.

Ugh sorry for bein such a downer.
Just feelin’ really crappy right now.

Tired and need to go to bed.

I guess the good thing is that tomorrow’s a new day.

Goodnight Buddies
Lori

I do those things too…knowing better and not caring for that brief moment…then its to late to undo it. Good thing is there is a new day, you are right about that. Good luck with a fresh start today!

Awww, Lori, ease up on yourself, k? It happens, but you can always choose to start fresh the next day, hugs!

Hmmm….. well those calories will not go straight to your hips especially if you are working out and keeping up with the weights (I confess I have let the strength training slide…my bad!) so no feeling bad hey? It happens and now you have energy to burn ;)

The past is the past and really you are in such a good place. Big hugs…. :)

Sorry you had a tuff night. Hang in there. This whole thing we’re after is a journey not necessarily a destination. Just take it a day at a time and keep trying. (((hugs)))

One tough night can’t undo the strides you have made.

I have found your blog very insightful and knowing women out there my age are getting the weight off, like you, is an inspiration to me.

I know it’s hard not to be hard on yourself without fearing a backslide. But you just have to brush yourself off and get back on that horse. He’s standing there waiting for you.

Don’t be too hard on yourself Lori. Just remember next time to maybe have a glass of water..I find warm water does the trick…and go to bed. I’ve done that so many times, it’s the body saying it’s tired so give it a pick-up to energize it…if I fall asleep in the late afternoons as soon as I wake up I want something sweet. You’ve come a long way baby, don’t beat yourself up about a little slip.

Yeah, I do this too. Just let it go and let go of the guilt. Look at how far you’ve come since 1/2007! I find that pretty impressive and that you are quite amazing!
